In the Kibera district of Nairobi, Stephen Okoth, also known as Ondivour, is a film-maker, photographer and model for his self-styled colourful and vintage fashion. “He inspires a generation in the shanty town through his sense of style, which brings hope to the people,” says photographer Brian Otieno, who submitted this image to the #CelebrateAfrica competition hosted by fairtrade photo agency Picfair and New African magazine and sponsored by Canon.
